Sunday morning 4 May 2008 - Drive from Ta' Fra Ben, Qawra, to the Riviera Hotel, Marfa
The AROC Malta monthly event for May 2008 was a leisurely drive from Ta' Fra Ben carpark to the Riviera Hotel at Marfa, for a relaxed chat over a coffee or lager. We welcome new member Robert Mifsud with his silver Alfa 147 2.0TS Selespeed (ROB-010), having only just acquired it. Well done Robert!
Our assembly point at Ta' Fra Ben was a real car enthusiast's heaven, with many beautiful contemporary and classic cars in attendance. With the loss of the Apple's Eye carpark due to the hotel development at Ghajn Tuffieha, car enthusiasts have now taken to meeting very informally at Ta' Fra Ben, where one can enjoy the cars, talk motors and have a drink.
Among the beauties present this particular Sunday morning (apart from our own Alfas, that is), were an absolutely stunning Ferrari Dino (only recently imported into Malta), a really cool black Ferrari F430 Spider, a F360 Modena, a FIAT 124 Spider, a Jaguar E-Type and other classic roadsters.
