The all new Alfa Romeo Giulietta, to be launched in 2010, will replace the long running and successful 147.
ALFA ROMEO CENTENARY EVENTS 2010
Unfortunately, from the news we have to date, the forthcoming Alfa Romeo Centenary celebrations have turned out to be a rather restrained affair and not the grandoise event many expected them to be. RIAR - the Registro Italiano Alfa Romeo - will be the main organiser of the celebrations. Although Alfa's birthday is actually on the 24 June, the programme will take place over the weekend of 26 and 27 June 2010 in Milan. The brand new Alfa Romeo Giulietta will be the protagonist. Over 3,000 Alfa Romeos from all over the world will participate in a parade through Milan, Alfa Romeo symbolically hugging the city. All Alfisti are invited to join in.
Even though Alfa's future is at the moment uncertain, with FIAT Group CEO Sergio Marchionne describing 2010 as a crunch year for the marque, Maltese Alfisti are sure to be there come June to celebrate with other Alfisti from all over the world. AROC Malta has already started making enquiries and initial plans for visiting Milan over the weekend of 26-27 June. The trip will most probably be spread over four days, departing Malta on Friday 25 and returning Monday 28 June. Keep these dates free on your diary and watch over for further news.
